May 2024 - Rub My Tummy

First Place: Buddy

I only allow my belly to be rubbed when there is snow outside.

Fun Facts:

I love belly rubs, but especially like them when I can roll around in snow first.

I don`t roll around in the grass in spring and summer asking for belly rubs, as I know we have way too many ticks here!

I like it when mom sings the `Tummy Tickle` song to me while giving me a belly rub! (It`s a very silly song she wrote herself, BOL!)

My three fun facts for May 2024 - how to make your mom yelp!

One time I hid one of those big hard Durabones in mom`s bed, and then I waited to see what would happen. She got into bed, rolled over, and yelled OUCH! She got it right in the side.

In my puppyhood, I used to like to sneak up quietly behind her when she was wearing flip-flops, and just as she took a step, I would step on the back of her flip-flop. She would yelp, flap her arms widely, and almost fall. It was hilarious!

Another time I jumped up on the couch and puked on it. So Mom hurried over to clean it up, but she didn`t know that I had hidden one of those hard Durabones in the blanket on the floor. She stepped on it, screamed, stumbled, went flying sideways right into the window. The bottle of cleaning solution she was holding flew out of her hand, bounced back off the window, and narrowly missed ricocheting onto her face.
That was on a Sunday, and she thought she was not going to be able to go to work the next day. She had a big black bruise on one side of the underside of her foot and on the side of her foot. She could hardly walk on Sunday. But by Monday morning, even though it was still dark purple, she was able to walk and go to work.

That was one of my funniest tricks.

Fun Facts:

I am very demanding when I want mommy to give me treats. I scratch at her shoulder or the container, or I jump on dad and give him the look until he tells mom to give me a treat.

I sleep with Mom at night, but during the day, I go with Dad and Jake to hang out in his trailer.

When I am in Dad`s trailer, I sleep on the big bed even though Dad and Jake are in the front room.
