Fun Facts:

Clarabelle is my baby, even though she is older than Jake!!!

Clarabelle is still very pushy about getting treats!! She scratches ay my arm, back, neck, wherever it takes to get my attention, to give her treats an then always tries to put her head into the jar!

Clarabelle LOOKS very sweet but don`t let her looks fool you!

Second Place: Murphy

Fun Facts:

When I`m excited about dinner, I can jump higher than the counter to see what`s up there! (I`m a short dog, by the way.)

I`ve recently discovered canned dog food and think it`s the BEST stuff in the world!!

Even though I`m an older guy, mom taught me to do tricks. After a while I refused to do commands even though she said them several times. Instead I would do something else. It took mom a while but she finally figured out that I was doing tricks, and I wanted HER to say the names of them (not her say the name, then me do them). Then I would get excited and wag and demand a biscuit.

Fun Facts:

One of my tricks was to put the scrap paper into the waste basket.

As one of my many tricks, Mama taught me how to do HUG.
She would tap her chest and I would put my forelegs around her neck to HUG her. I learned it very quickly, but I kept bouncing my paws off her face or throat to get into position. So she stopped doing it with me. After six months, she thought she`d try again. As soon as she tapped her chest, I bounced my paws off her face before putting my forelegs around her neck.
She stopped doing that trick after that.

I learned new tricks very quickly and easily. I can`t remember now which trick it was, but Mama had only taught it to me for a couple of days and then she forgot all about it. Several weeks later she remembered that she had forgotten to keep practicing that new trick with me. As soon as she gave me the signal, even though I had only learned it for a couple of days and it had been several weeks since I had done it, I remembered what it was and did it perfectly!
